My first free gift - a video iPod!!
I have to admit, I was very sceptical about this freebies business. For the uninitiated, it involves signing up to a "freebie" company (there are many legitimate, and many dodgy, ones), getting some form of free trial offer, then getting several other people to do the same - referring you as their source. Unfortunately, most of my mates were equally sceptical and did not sign up. I needed another tactic.
I had seen some listings for this sort of thing on ebay, so I thought I'd give that a try! Little did I know that this was strictly forbidden under ebay's T&Cs. My listing was quickly pulled (within 2 hours of posting) and I was issued a stern warning that I risked a ban.
So I set up a simple website, and I will use this blog to report my progress. I have already received a 30gb ipod and am now collecting referrals for a wii.
